Mi PC Suite is multi-purposing software which is mainly focused on managing data and file transfers. Obviously, it can be used only on Xiaomi mobile phones which running MIUI OS such as mi and Redmi Smartphones. As I mentioned earlier it is multi-tasking such as do backup and recovery, PC internet sharing, device flashing and integrated MIUI support. The program runs through the accompaniment of Windows API. How to Install Mi PC Suite on Windows

  1. Download the file from here.
  2. Install it on the PC. (There is an easy normal process as regular.)
  3. Its time to connect your phone. It will automatically download the essential drivers.
  4. Now launch the application. You will see the main page. There you can see all the functions it offers you such as manage files, phone backups and restores, Rom flashing, Screencast and System upgrading. 

How to use it 

  • If you want to back up your data and manage previous backups head to the backup interface.
  • If you want to control the phone from PC click on Screencast. It will display the screen of your phone on the PC.
  • Update interface will allow you to check and perform the system update
  • Use the file explorer to transfer files between phone and the PC
  • Use the App tab to install and uninstall new applications
  • For manage photos access to the photo tab.
  • For manage videos, access to the video manager. It also provides you a player. So double click to watch it.
  • Music Manager is used to doing all music-related activities such as export/import.
  • Use the note tab to manage notes, add reminders and graphics.
  • Messaging and contacts give you capabilities to send messages besides manage them.
  • If you want flash, Fastboot flashing will automatically start when you connect the phone in fastboot mode. Pick the option you want and run it. After the flashing is over the device will boot up.
